There is a possibility that you may be joined by one other photographer if you book one space.

Moving from late Winter into early Spring

This seasonal shift is often when the most rewarding photography begins. Early visits tend to be quieter and more observational — ideal for understanding behaviour, light, and perch use. As spring approaches, sessions become more dynamic, with repeated perching, fast dives, and regular returns to favoured spots.
Light improves quickly at this time of year, with softer overcast days and longer windows of workable conditions. Once a routine forms, photographers can expect multiple opportunities across a session rather than brief, fleeting encounters.
The hide is designed for patience. Nothing here is forced or hurried, and that’s exactly why it works. When the kingfisher is ready, she stays — and photographers are able to settle in, slow down, and come away with images that feel natural, intimate, and earned.

If a no show happens you can make one reschedule for free.
