Welcome to Berkshire Wildlife Hides, where a heartfelt vision of rewilding a corner of West Berkshire has come to life. It began with a simple idea: to create an area to attract the beauty of nature and provide a haven for local wildlife. With my passion for photography driving me, I was out to transform the landscape into a vibrant ecosystem and a build it and then will come approach.The center piece of this wildlife haven is a stunning wildlife pond, meticulously designed to attract local kingfishers. The sight of these beautiful birds darting across the water is nothing short of magical. To ensure that nature can fully immerse themselves in this experience, I built a cozy, fully insulated photography hide. The hide is designed for comfort year-round, allowing visitors to observe and capture the wonders of wildlife in all seasons. In my commitment to fostering biodiversity, I've also installed four barn owl boxes around the landscape. It brings me immense joy to see the early signs of occupancy, a testament to the success of our rewilding efforts. Each day brings new surprises and opportunities to connect with the natural world, Berkshire Wildlife Hides is not just a place to visit, but a sanctuary where nature thrives and you can come and enjoy with in the comfort of our photography hide.
